I hate to ask, but what's the word on Disco's? Worth getting one? Which one?

My son's LR3 has that - nice engine. And it has an amazing cooling system that can crawl around in low gears in the heat, and a crazy deep oil sump so the thing has full oil pressure at 45º + angles.

Yeah 2005+ they went all Jag engine. I hear great things about them though. Jag had the engines sorted after 2000/1 (IIRC, timing guide issues), and of course the Rv8 had been exhausted well before then.

I'd love to get my hands on a LR3 in the future....but for now I'll stick with building my hot rod.

I forget, did you already talk about this?... Are you lengthening the frame to fit the 100" body?
Nope, it's a LWB Classic frame, so it's very close. IIRC I just need the rear crossmember from a Series truck and I'll be golden. Set that, pop in the rear tub and then everything falls in from there.

Bulkhead on this one is pretttty bad....could use a new one honestly, but I'mm roll with this one while I do my metal work and trans tunnel clearance work...fuck I said too much....

    It's gonna be a blast.

    >EDIT> ....I said that backwards, didn't I? "Lengthening the frame to fit the 109" body." But it sounds like they're pretty close!
