And a 600 doesn't have the same instant shove that a bigger torquey motor has on tap, which you found out pretty quick. 😆
Stay safe out there brother!
You bet. You too.

Thought my '00 Monster 900 would fit the bill, but turns out it's pretty aggressive for a "sport touring" bike.
Need to respring the front to stock rate (I'm only 140lbs), but that still won't make 2+ hour rides comfortable.
While sitting fully erect, I get a bit of wind buffeting at my wrists, and some on the top of my helmet (I'm 6'3"), even with the windscreen moved up as high as it will go. But leagues better than the last bike I rode.

Thank you. Definitely a looker from the side. The front, not so much. haha
It rides like a heavy bike, but then not really. Easily maneuverable, and much faster than anything I have driven in years. Very balanced, even at like .5 mph.

FCP Euro finally screwed me after years of nothing but good experiences despite seeing people complain here. For no explicable reason they didn't ship an order I placed early AM same day, or within 24h, so I called them at 36hrs and they had no explanation for why but something got messed up with my order. I told the guy I spoke to I'm in kind of a hurry and that's why I paid the extra for faster shipping and to his credit he was polite and said he'd upgrade the package to 2 day so I could still get it by Friday. Well that wasn't good enough and here I am, on Saturday, looking at an estimated delivery date of Tuesday. It wound up stuck in some unspecified delay according to UPS, probably a winter storm up north. If only it had shipped when they always do (same or next day) I'd have the parts on my car right nowLast edited by varg; 01-13-2024, 02:38 PM.
