Usually I'd agree with this statement. But with EVERYTHING on 4 wheels with AWD these days, I really miss (and prefer) FWD*. This is why I prefer the Civic Type R over other hot hatches from VW (Golf R), and Ford Focus (RS).

Coincidentally, the Civic has better performance times than the AWD competition.

RWD can be fun without power. FWD just burns up tires.

AWD isn't as much fun as RWD, but a AWD launch is fucking amazing.

My Lil 1st Gen focus is a champ tho I bang on that thing 5 days a week because I always leave late for work and I'll slam that thing into third and it r3vs like a Mazda.... Oh wait it pretty much is a Mazda zoomzoomzoom.
