Back in 98 or 99, my sister in law and I were driving behind a brand new jetta on the 405 (no plates) on that car yet, and the muffler fell off and skipped hitting my car. Shit was hilarious and scary at the same time.

So I kinda wasted my insurance money on paying my bills and not BMW parts but this....

It's a 1996 Chevy 1500 4x4 and it was only $500! Totally worth it =D The only issue is the fuse for the transmission keeps blowing so I have to track down the short or ground problem. Other then that it runs great and is in pretty good condition! Now I can use it to tow all the BMW projects I want to buy =P

Also, not as urgent but I'm looking for a place to send my single mass flywheel to get "trimmed" down a little

One more question, anyone have the tool for the fan clutch. I'll be finally doing the timing belt on the daily this weekend

I have one but a hammer and wrench should do the job. A large flathead to hold the pulley works too.

You can get the wrench and water pump holder for under $20 on Amazon.

A hammer and a wrench works for me, but damn, that's a cheap tool to get on amazon now.

I'd start soaking it in some penetrating spray. They can be a PITA sometimes.
