Never ever recommending adapters to anyone. I mean sure they're safe, I haven't had any issues with them while driving but they're a royal fucking pain in the ass.
Travis; I've had issues with my "Adaptec/Motorsport Tech" adapters, I just never mentioned that I almost died on the frwy from them brreaking bolts. Because like you said they're supposed to be the safest/best.@IRON-E30 aka Edwin:DComment

I had shit happen to more than 1 of my adapters, and loosen or tightened bolts, it all ends up in the quality of the hardware.
I met someone with an old Porsche, they had really old adapters (6inches wide). Made of metal not aluminum, he has had them since the 80s without issues. Paid about the same amount of money, as what we paid for ours.
Moral of the story "adapters should be metal to be safe"@IRON-E30 aka Edwin:DComment
