Replacing the oil pan only takes ~1hr on the M20. Its just a bitch with all the little bolts and getting the gasket to sit properly.

A little trick to getting that gasket to stay in place: use some 3m spray adhesive (glue) and glue the gasket either to the pan or the block (whichever you prefer.)'70 911s | '72 2002 | '88 M5 | '89 330is | '89 M3 | '95 911 | '02 M5 | '04 RR HSE

Had the thermostat housing that cracked welded on my head today. Get it all back together with a new OE Behr 80c thermostat. Still overheats. God fucking damn it.'70 911s | '72 2002 | '88 M5 | '89 330is | '89 M3 | '95 911 | '02 M5 | '04 RR HSE

Anyone have a working 173 type dme. I need to swap it with mine to rule out the possibility of injector driver failure.sigpicComment
