Replacing the oil pan only takes ~1hr on the M20. Its just a bitch with all the little bolts and getting the gasket to sit properly.

At least you smashed it on one of the most fun roads in Seattle!

When I destroyed my oil pan it was because I hit a grapefruit sized rock on I5 at 60mph. Took out my m42's oil pan, steering rack and crossmember too.

A little trick to getting that gasket to stay in place: use some 3m spray adhesive (glue) and glue the gasket either to the pan or the block (whichever you prefer.)

Works well with exhaust gaskets, oil pan gaskets, etc.

Not good enough. I've made some regrettable life choices based upon "It's ok from the back"...

Had the thermostat housing that cracked welded on my head today. Get it all back together with a new OE Behr 80c thermostat. Still overheats. God fucking damn it.

Anyone have a working 173 type dme. I need to swap it with mine to rule out the possibility of injector driver failure.
