Yea i feel like switching to single turbo or a more reliable twin turbo setup would solve a lot of the complaints. Most people just dont like replacing turbos every 50-80k.

I honestly feel like i'm going to get seriously hurt in an accident in my 2002 one day after seeing how some people around Anacortes drive and have no remorse for other drivers. It's got me a little freaked out...
Edit: On the way to school today I was nearly ran off the road by some fuckwit driving a old diesel Ford truck.. like if that would have hit my car, being a tiny little tin can I would have gotten worked over.-1976 2002 daily (Sold)

OK, so two things.
First the attached picture is part two of my example of proper paint preparation is pertinent to professional paint performance. After all the rain over the last few days, I noticed that I had some more paint peeling on the roof of my Shit show I call Eurotrash. so I started picking at it, when everything was said and done, this is whats left. I removed all the paint that was loose. I suspect by summer I will have a entirely Cirrusblau Metallic roof. (which is the factory color)
So, onto the 2nd thing. I may have an opportunity to buy a M60B40 with harness, at a local yard, for about $500. Donor is a 1994 540i autotragic. A few things that bothers me, one is the ECU has already been sold, so their is no way to check the mileage, and I can't crank it, because, well, no ECU, and No key, so I don't know about compression nor do I know about leak down. I also have not checked the number on the block, so I don't know if it still a Nikasil block, or if had the recall done and it's a Alusil block. Although the oil looks good, and the motor appears to have not sustained any damage from the accident.
Also, does anyone know if the diff from that car will bolt into the E30 subframe? I think it has a LSD, and I have an open right now....Dumpster Fire Pilot

you should try to get your hands on a power washer or some other form of high pressure water, Im sure you could have that whole roof, and maybe more removed with the power of H20
and a LSx in a BMW is deadly in the wrong hands. Ive ridden in 3 different LS powered BMWs ( 2 E30s, and 1 E36) and I was almost killedSimon
