That was the best experience I've had with Guitar Center. I haven't been back since! You still got a damn good deal though, saving a grand is always nice!
So, that's my biggest reason for not selling it, so when I go back to playing, I'll have a badass kit to play. What they say sure is true, buy a shitty kit, you'll sound like shit and get disinterested. Spend some money on a good kit and you'll sound good and want to keep playing.
Best thing about an electric set, there is a full kit in there that sounds like the Scat Man.
That's the only way to jam, haha!

I've wanted an electric kit for a while. Almost bought a V-Drum kit from Guitar Center, but I'm pretty hard on my drums and those pads are expensive as shit and can't be replacing those too often! They're awesome though. The quality and sound is incredible.

I was concerned in college over physical space and it turns out that electronic drums take up about the same amount of space. They're not silent, but they're obviously quieter, which is nice.
Having to get a good speaker system is kind of a pain, though the price of good mesh heads have dropped considerably in the past 5 years. You can get soe huge ones on the cheap these days.

I concur. Proper amplification is everything. If I end up moving into an apartment, I may pick up a marginally priced electronic set just so I can keep playing.
Had a build sheet requested for my car this evening. Kinda interesting to see what this car came with. None of the other cars that were posted had "SHIPPING PROTECTION PACKAGE," but my car did. Interesting.
