How fun is an LS e30 to drive? I'd imagine its very very fun but what are your thoughts on it?

            Few thoughts:
-All LSx are not created equal. LS1 came in a 280hp trim up to 350hp, depending on what it went into.
-Mine is an LS3, about 465hp stock.
-Transmission makes a huge difference. I've got a T56 Magnum built by Hurst with low gearing for highway useage. It idles at 35mph in 6th.
-It gets hot if you hoon it. I can feel a lot of heat going through the shifter tunnel when I'm having fun. Cruising it's a breeze.
-I had a CTS Coupe when the car was finished and sold the coupe because the e30 was so awesome around town and on the highway.
            -It gets 25mpg at 85mph for a full tanks-worth.
-Surprisingly controllable in the city, but can burn rubber in third if you want it to.
-Surprisingly quiet when cruising. A bat out of hell when you want it to be.

Overall it's a joy but it ruins "real" sports cars because near-nothing has the same lb/hp as it does. If you're not careful it will kill you real quick, or someone else will kill it real quick.

Some guys here have ridden in it and one or two have driven it, they can let you know what their thoughts are/were.

LS seems like such an ugly engine without the beauty covers. Understated. Dropping it in the wagon then?

Sounds amazing! Pretty much in line with my experience in my truck with LS1, purrs like kitten and roars like lion when asked! Except you have more power and less weight! 460hp 6 speed go kart...

So as some of you know, I've had some gremlins in the past few weeks. The car would run rough initially on the first start after it's been sitting for a couple of days. The rough running would mostly clear up after the car's been driven and warmed up a bit; however, it would still be a bit rough in a small RPM range. However, as long as the car is being daily driven, it would seem to be ok.

When it runs rough, it car feels very sluggish and makes the "blarg blarg blarg blarg blarg" rough running noise.

I think this may be linked, but it seems like I'm using more gas. My gas economy has gone down (trips and city/highway ratio have mostly stayed the same), and even on light acceleration, I now see my gas gauge dip way down to under 10 MPG, when it wouldn't be that low before.

Ideas on what the issue may be?

Have you ever had your injectors cleaned? or at least removed and inspected to see if the o-rings are good?
