It's the same thing with a different super structure.
The 330 or X3 is plenty reliable, there is a ton of them out there, and they can be had for fairly cheap if you look around.
If you were in the Portland, I'd tell you to talk to Brian over at Bridge City Motors.. He can help you find one.
..and I would choose an X3 over an X5, only because of some known issues with the 5 series/X5 chassis (particularly with the V8.)1991 325i MT2 Touring (JDM bro)

Yep. I asked my buddy Ryan who owns Dynasport (BMW specific repair shop here in Portland) his thoughts about it.
He said,"You mean what's my thoughts on a car that I personally own?"
Followed by "An extremely great car, I have 198000 miles on mine"
Of course, in true car guy fashion he said when that dies, hes' going S54..
Hope that helps.1991 325i MT2 Touring (JDM bro)

Yeah?
I was talking to a few guys at the picnic, one of whom has one currently. I am not settled yet, as I just can't wrap my head around the automatic only aspect.
We are between one of those and an e46 m3. I drive a bit too much to justify an M car currently though. IMO.
I bought a 5-spd Crosstrek over the winter, just because I'm on the road so much, but practicality has entirely caved to my boredom with that horrible car and its bulldozer like gearbox.Derek-

Please do. Every one I've come across is either sold, the seller wants way over retail, or the dealer is wholesaling.Derek-

Put it this way...if i dont drive my E46 M3 for a day, I go thru withdrawals...i literally crave it lol.
And whenever my lady and I go on trips, I find every excuse to take the M. It's such a fantastic car. Im currently looking for a roof rack system so I can utilize it on long trips.-Brad, AlphaTeam Motorwerks, LLC

Yesterday some douche in a slammed s4 would not get off my ass. I was in the left lane in mild traffic, going about 30-40mph, he was about 1 foot from the back of my car. Up ahead traffic was stopped, so i late braked about 20 yards from a car. He locked his wheels up, and slid to a stop, but the 3 other cars behind him did not....
oh man that felt nice, i calmly pulled away, and continued on to work.
