I found this for e30 sedan. i believe it is imported from Taiwan/China.I am considering to try it myself but still asking around for reviews from my friends. also idk if its plug and play or you need to adhesive to connect it together but by the looks of it hopefully its plug and play.


theres a lot of cheap option here in my country, last time i replace my trunk rubber, it only cost me under 30$ but idk if it will last long enough. nevertheless, it would not hurt to try.

to make the AMAZON door seal work smoothly you need the holes as I mentioned before so I went ahead and made some holes to the seals I got and this is how you make the holes

Tomorrow will receive some more stuff from amazon to make this seal look exactly like the OEM and I will post the update

I was just looking at those ebay seal kits... but I think I'll go the Amazon route. Thank you to all who have posted here, this is really valuable information. I tried cutting my original seals, stretching them into the corners, and filling the gap with some donor material from another door seal, but I'm still getting some wind noise and I think its because the original seal "bulb" also compressed over time and isn't snug on the surface of the door. When I end up doing the amazon seals I'll post an update too.

Just to update - turkish seals have had 0 issues, no leaks and were easy to install.

Car sits outside in the snow, rain etc.

My only question is what adhesive to use in order to get the headliner into position and also seal the weather stripping

just a reminder buy the 20 ft because the 10 ft is obviously short !!
yes, I just took some photos, and let me know if you need more from a different angle!!





you will feel it is harder to close the door with this seal because it doesn't have holes like the OEM so you need to make some small holes on the aftermarket one to let the air pressure to escape. here is a photo of the OEM one that has holes



then I took the fabric out of the OEM to paint it black then I will glue it to the aftermarket

I just installed the driver door seal from ebay. Here's the one I used: https://www.ebay.com/itm/14343527847...53.m1438.l2649

It worked great. This seal even had the holes drilled in it. This is a much better alternative to the OEM $300 seals.

So do the old ones just slip off and new ones slip back on or is it more involved than that
