Hit up blunt here on the forum and he'll hook you up, cheaper than local dealer. He is a whore.

      More updates

I had to modify the input manifold support to use the motor mounts. Just needed to enlarge the slot where the motor mount bolt goes plus a little bit of grinding.

Switched to a socket head bolt to be able to attach the support. Click image for larger version

Looks like an OEM set up.

While I'm waiting for the Z3 shifter I ordered from Blunt I started replacing some of the transmission gaskets. I did the input flange but I don't think I'll be doing the output. I might regret it but I'm running out of time and patience.

I thought the same about those tranny seals and
then the rear started to leak on me.

No fun having to do stiff twice. :(

The rear one at least you can do w/o removing the tranny IF you have to do it ;)

              Pilot bearing won't fit help!!

I was going to install the pilot bearing in the flywheel and it is too small. The hole in the flywheel has a 40mm diameter. PB is 30mm. Flywheel was purchased separately from engine and tranny. FW does fit the pressure plate and clutch. Am I missing something?

The bearing is actually supposed to sit in the block piece.
Put some nice grease on it and slide it in.

If there's a bearing already in there and can't get it out autozone has a nice
tool you can rent for free (2nd pic). :)

Thanks LowR3Vn. The Bentley and Realoem were not very clear.

                        Sound deadening keep or remove??

I know some of you are removing all the material but my preference would be to keep it or at least keep some of it. I'm looking for suggestions, ideas etc. FYI I'm using Funk's mounts.

I'm using Funk's mounts on my B34. I don't think my car had the insulation to begin with, haha.

Hammer where the head goes on the firewall and get some new sound deadening stuff.
