That might be a bit a stretch,,, that car is an uncommonly detailed swap.
Most 4V swapped cars I have encountered have "nowhere" near this level of attention to detail or cleanliness of build to them
I'd hazard that 75% of all the swapped E30s I have encountered either in person or reading this forum are thrown together as cheaply and quickly as possible.
Or someone spends all kinds of money on the actual engine,,, then drops it in a car that has the cheapest shit coil overs available and wheels that don't fit,,, and zero other actual "work" done to it.
If this car were the "norm" then I'd agree, but this car is a bit of an outlier.Jimmy P.

What I mean is nicely done cars selling for $20k+ rather than 15-17k. S54s are getting cheaper and cheaper. With how much more $ they pull in value, its almost makes more sense financially to do a s54 swap over a s50/52 swap these days.
I bet that would of got pretty close to 40k with a s54. (although I havent looked over every detail of the car)Current:

Almost but not quite there yet. The M50/S50 family came in so many cars. People who never did a swap are now doing them for less than 5k. Solutions are well established for that swap. We need more companies to fab up solutions for the M54/S54 swap to bring the prices down. Having my 323i swapped to S52 is running about $5k.
