I think it is because the harness from older cars, that have square plug have it running between firewall and box..

I can't tell too well what the two sensors closest to the firewall are. I don't recognize them, are they left behind from the two bellhousing sensors in the trans?
The two smaller slip on connections with brown wire (it looks like) are for the reverse signal on the trans. (again, pretty sure)
No clue on the last one.
If you already figured this out, how'd I do? hahaOriginally posted by z31maniacI just hate everyone.

I found the wire that goes from the tranny up through the boot for the reverse lights, it was still on the old shift carrier. :D
And now that I think about it, those 2 sets of connectors were never hooked to anything, I don't remember unplugging them from anything. I still need to figure out what that blue and yellow wire are for.

Just spent a good deal of time doing some more cleanup in the bay. Removed all of the foam/tar backing junk from my blower motor cover, and with the spare inside part of a 318is harness cover, mocked up and zip tied all of the harness up and into it's final locations. I'll remove it and clean up a little better when my new set gets here. And yes, that blower motor cover will be cleaned up and painted. :)
