I'm sending this thing your way in the morning, bolts and all. Cleaned up pretty nice considering how covered in oil it was.

Awesome, thanks a TON man! Andrew is taking some measurements of that wheel bearing tool, and then I'll ship it back to you. He wants to see if he can make one!

I think it is because the harness from older cars, that have square plug have it running between firewall and box..

nice progress man, I got mine in

Top 2 inside the boots go to the OBC horn, or at least they did on my 85.

Is there any way you can send this Andrew guy up to Canada when you're done with him? I could use some help with my harness :)

                  I'm guessing you already know.

I can't tell too well what the two sensors closest to the firewall are. I don't recognize them, are they left behind from the two bellhousing sensors in the trans?

The two smaller slip on connections with brown wire (it looks like) are for the reverse signal on the trans. (again, pretty sure)

No clue on the last one.

If you already figured this out, how'd I do? haha

So the reverse lights come on, right? What do they connect to? Isn't there a wire that comes up from the transmission through the shift boot that connects to them somewhere? I cannot for the life of me remember how that goes. Help me out here, I'm a little lost on these last few things.

the reverse wire is chassis side on E30s, it doesn't hook into the engine harness like the E36. So however it was before - check the ETM?

I found the wire that goes from the tranny up through the boot for the reverse lights, it was still on the old shift carrier. :D

And now that I think about it, those 2 sets of connectors were never hooked to anything, I don't remember unplugging them from anything. I still need to figure out what that blue and yellow wire are for.

e36 motor? I thought Danny posted in an old thread, you can remove from harness, or just leaving hanging, on e36 harness cars

You don't actually have a C101 connector anymore. You have an X20 connector. ;)

                              Right.

Just spent a good deal of time doing some more cleanup in the bay. Removed all of the foam/tar backing junk from my blower motor cover, and with the spare inside part of a 318is harness cover, mocked up and zip tied all of the harness up and into it's final locations. I'll remove it and clean up a little better when my new set gets here. And yes, that blower motor cover will be cleaned up and painted. :)
