    I didn't measure but just went until it just cleared booster by about 2-3mm. I have condor mounts so hopefully it's enough clearance. It put it high enough that had to cut out a good chunk of the hood skeleton. Even after clearance the metal backing plate with a notch around booster and flattening the bottom of the number 6 velocity stack to get it installed .

          Re torqued headstuds after my initial heat cycle. Need to build the exhaust system still and paint the alpina valance.

                one of strut tower nuts is loose?
                89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

                  2 aren't installed in the pic. I was test fitting a strut tower bar. ebay nor garagisitic bars fit the air box

                      The itb's look great!i really want a set, but I doubt they would fit the ix.

                            I don't have my ix with my 325i to compare the differences, but I know the ix booster is much thicker so it probably pushes the reservoir into where the airbox would be, but there could be room under there and its just the angle of the picture. I'm sure the booster its self will clear since people use it for clearance in 24v swaps. I guess you could do a remote reservoir the more I think about it.

                                I'm willing to bet a smaller diameter brake booster that is a bit thicker would clear the airbox just fine.

                                the booster being thicker wouldnt interfere from what i can see.
