labor was $700, which isnt too bad, they did a good job and after they had all the parts it was done within around 3 days.

that included, decking, honing, cleaning all parts, mic and making sure its all within spec, polishing the crank and then install of all new parts.

De-glazed, perhaps. That is not a fresh hone.

OK, that's a much better pic. Just corrected round and de-glazed. :)

have a few questions with the clutch. since the car originally had the big dual mass setup.

If I run the 533 flywheel with 533 clutch will the stack height be the same(as teh dual mass setup) and still work with my current slave cylinder?

spec stage 5 clutch on the way, rated at 634ftlbs of torque, should do nicely.

just need one more order from blunttech and should be ready to drop it in.

anyone know the best/affordable tool to crimp the m30's new timing chain together?

even $100 is too much for a tool I will only use once. I've seen a few at summit racing for around $60 but not sure if they work for BMW chains. anyone have a budget solution?

a lot...i'm not sure on a number but enough to do roll on throttle burnouts in second gear but still get traction in 3rd at 70mph. so likely 480-500

this might be a dumb question but would a bicycle chain tool work? they cost like $10

Just curious, but how does the Alpina valence mount to the stock valence?
