Not to question your decision, but IMHO, the extra 10 lbs of the Alpina wing is worth it. I don't think your car would look right without it....

I think 10lbs at back end isn't a big deal if you have a turbo M30 in front.. :D I like the current looks, very clean!

tranny seems fine, not sure what this new decel noise is still, to busy working on the IX today for some reason the transfer case is puking everywhere.

An exhaust making contact with a hard part during decel can make that noise...

Exactly what I was thinking, passenger motor Mount seems to of let my engine sit closer to shock tower may of melted it, my pass trans mount has also melted and deformed.

So condor motor mounts and new wastegate tube finished/installed. As I was installing I discovered a corner of a gasket under the hood, I did some further Inspection and discovered the turbo to manifold gasket completely exploded, its frayed, has torn metal edges etc looks like a bomb went off! Tried to pull off turbo but the bolt closest to oil drain backed out a few mm then completely seized and when I went to use more leverage of course it stripped...... im so sick of this.....



Pros-new mounts, better clearance exhaust.

Cons-turbo has half a gasket, bolts stripped with no room to sneak a dremel or other tools in there.
