      Soo considerably worse than I thought.. oh well. Yes new hardware, red loctite, new torque wrench was used. Glad its out of my e30 for good.

            I dunno - the carnage there looks like the damage was done first time round, and the fact the bolts were torqued up the second time was irrelevant as the back of the crank was already cactus.

            With all the effort expended, a new crank, bearings & flywheel, and it's all go again??

            None the less - the ITB M20 in the picture looks awesome. Can't wait to see the finished pics.

                          very busy few days.
                          BBK on Taco's car
                          Refreshed all top end intake o-rings, MAF,gaskets and fuel pump on the chipped 740i, runs 100% now.

                          spark plugs, pump, filters, oil change, valve adjustment on the 635csi.
                          and of course the engine swap progress on the E30

                              Could I see how he did the ABS pump? I'm kinda stumped on how I'm going to do it.

                                Pretty sure that pic is in a 740il and not an e30. A lot more room in the 7-series.
