It's not only the size of valve that matters, there is many other things like

Size of port compared to valve size, valve dia. vs. piston dia. , port shape and the smallest part of it.

I realised that m20 cylinder head has so tapered port that it requires intake manifold to be bolted on to give any reasonable result in flowbench.

Atm my current itb manifold is giving +22% more flow than stock head with stock manifold.

Planned to make cover for the cam pulley since I'm swapping into Direct ignition.

Got the brake booster bracket modified. Drilled couple new holes and cut some part out of it.

Going to rotate the assembly to gain straighter line for the push rod

Had to cut out some brackets and hammer a dent to get brake booster couple centimeters backward

Another evening in the workshop :)

Drawed a cover for the cam pulley with m50 cam sensor

Signal would be taken from the adjuster bolt

Back to the brake mechanism. Need to finish it :P
              Another bracket to weld up.

Wow, i'll give you plenty of respect for going about building and fabricating all of this stuff yourself. Such an effort. Takes a lot of skill and ability to do what your doing.

But, it does seem as though you are over complicating things when there are already much simpler solutions out there. Especially with the brake booster setup.

Are you planning on going ITB's or are you going to install the triple webber setup? Or am i getting confused lol

Did you even read the title? :D

Well yeah this gives a plenty of space for the itb setup so I dont have to build shitty setup like Dbilas or other bolt-on kits.

Great job on all of this! In my opinion its more about the experience of the build, than the final product of the build itself. Hopefully after this winter I can get started on my m30 ix build!

i think he meant since youre so open to hacking and customising , why not ditch the booster and run a pedal box setup. also you can build a proper setup with stock booster. some even shift the stock booster over an inch or so which would make it 10x easier to make a plenum. also smaller booster and corresponding caliper and m/c changes along with the offset position and would help again

Digger: whether a pedal box setup is road legal or not in Finland, is open to debate.
Much of the stuff we build just has to look OEMish so the MOT inspector wont notice your custom parts.

Yeah and I have seen the ITB trumpet models out of the 3D printer. But then from the photos it looks like you are measuring clearances using the carbs???

Others has built those booster inside cab, under dashboard.....But that is way more radical solution.

That current can looks about stock, when ready

yeah carbs are just for the mockup so I can see how long intake manifold I can make for this.
