Leaning hard on my Disco II right now, I sold my m5 so it's my only DD'able vehicle for the next couple months. So far, so good, 165k and still going somewhat strong. It's do for an overhaul though once I have the time, I'd really like to do an m62 swap, but the more I read about it I'm not so sure.
My friend got a kick out of british car ownership the other day, we were riding to lunch on a cloudy day and I noticed some mist on the windshield
Me: "Shit, I bet the radiator end cap finally broke" *checks gauges*
Friend: "Dude. It's raining"- '88 m54 coupe

The issue I see is KEEPING it running. We had an '87 that was just..impossible… But it had a lot of miles and heavy use and was just worn out.
Our friend in Seattle found a diesel engine in Europe and retrofitted his. Nice and reliable now with lots of low end torque.

In my opinion, LRs are like anal. People always trash talk em, but rarely have they ever had one.Originally posted by blunttechLevent guzzles vanilla hazelnut creamer like its my semen
