      In any case, look to the three year specials like the N46 for true BMW design gems. After all, what's not to like about an engine with the complexity of an S65, and in 1.8L guise, a specific output worse than an M42? Then again, BMW did put that engine in it's most loved design legend ever, the E46 compact.

          Anyway, I would totally do one of those fiberglass M3 rep kits to an early coupe that was a little on the rough side. If my eta were a coupe, I'd probably go for it despite it being a late model.

              There are steel kits now there pretty nice but also 2k for the rear fenders...

                    Why start with a harder to find car when you have to cut the back end off anyway? That bed is substantially wider than what you'd get hacking the roof off of a Magnum's rear end.
