I always look at it as "while im in there" because if you want more later you dont have to do the extra work.
On a stock or lightly modded engine the only advantaged ARP give is the ability to remove the head without replacing the bolts... Not worth the price tag imo
You would have to replace your head bolts 5+ times before the ARPs would pay themselves off.
Edit: does anyone know where to get OEM bolts, NOT Victor Reinz? I can get Victor Reinz from my parts supplier and I've used them before but wasn't too happy.
I just did the weld in kit for the subframe. Can you weld? If so, it's ridiculously easy to do. I picked up a spare subframe from the JY for $15 so down time is nil. (I have to install it this week and get it re-aligned).
thats my plan, I just bought a welder too! Eastwood 135, for $330 shipped. Just need to get the gas bottle now... I also have an extra set of strut housings so my suspension is going to get some upgrades once the car is done. and for those who baby their cars, WTF! Im going to hammer my car the minute Im driving it.
