If anyone else has a car that they are about to scrap i need a large section of the trunk pan, mine is rusty and i'd like to just cut it out and weld in a new one.....soooo if someone has a shell they are getting ready to toss i'll pay scrap prices or whatever you deem appropriate.Comment

Hell yeah! Propane torch did the trick and the tie rods came off. Passenger side relatively easy after 45 seconds of heat.
Driver side took a few cycles of heat. The monkey wrench would not stay on, and YES I knackered the hell out of it, but vice grips with a cheater did the trick.
Also I dropped the sway bar to get to the passenger side inner ball joint nut, did the trick and that is off too.
Now just need to go back out another day and get the control arm and strut assembly off.

Glad you were able to figure it out toes.
Strut assembly should come out fairly easy once you get all the ball joints, etc off-Brad, AlphaTeam Motorwerks, LLC

remember you will need an alignment after this 5toes. And I have tired les schwab (tires 5) and firestone (tried 1), both of which will not align bmws due to not having the "proper" tools. Just keep this in mind.Originally posted by SonnyI am a meme for our community.Comment
