Can't search their website for fluids which blows. Looking to get some motor oil as well.

edit: Also Austin is the Kendall GT-1 - Motor Oil what you use? Read some good things about Kendall Oil

Just an FYI Aaron, another shop that I know of another shop local that carries redline products. I kinda know the guy who owns it and I might be able to get a deal on it.

                      Bought some RedLine at NAPA.

So quick question for all of you experienced e30 guys.

I have read that some people pull m20s with the trans using just the front valve cover lift point.

I have a engine hoist on loan from a friend, but not a load leveler. I noticed at harbor freight the load leveler is about $50. If I can borrow one form somebody for like $20, that would be awesome.

Also, I know that the rear lift point is hard to get to. My valve cover is powdercoated, and I would rather not scratch it up.

So how should I go about removing the old m20/putting the new one in?

                        Comment

The rear lift point isn't hard to get to. If you try to lift it by the valve cover studs, you are in for an epic, possibly tragic fail.

Edit. I didn't read it all. Just do it the correct way and use both lifting points.

I'm not sure what the name is, but I use Kendall synthetic blend 20w50 in the M50. IIRC, that's what the M20 is supposed to take.
