The past 2 weeks the coolant has been mysteriously disappearing from the reservoir.

•No visual coolant on the floor.
Any ideas or experiences on how or where to trouble shoot?

Head gasket or cracked head? Doesn't leave any puddles or have any wet carpet at all?

Any oil/coolant mixture or rough idle?

+1 head gasket. It may have blown between a coolant galley and a cylinder.

Had this issue on my m3, swapped on a good head, rebuilt the entire top end, new gasket, no more coolant loss, it has a small crack, and was consuming it in cylinder 2-3

I have yet to end a year without some sort of problem that requires repairing an M20 since getting back in to Bimmers..

Yet I keep coming back!

...maybe it's just the #racecarLife.

It looks like I have oil/coolant mixture.... No puddles anywhere.

Do you know how much does that run to fix?
