Belt broke, took the AC belt out. New tensioner that came with the SC froze.

Took all the other pulleys with it. The PS has chips. Water pump has a large crack.

    I ordered all aluminum pulleys.

Before this happened I installed a big bore TB.

Oof that is rough. Surprised to see so much damage from a belt break. I guess it's better the pulleys fail then the components though.

What kind of big bore TB? Does this provide any power gains over stock, or just for throttle response?

It's similar to this, not sure on advantages, more air in can't hurt.

is this legit normal? i've been super bugged about my front right needing 5mm more than the left FOREVER...ruled out subframe and lca/tie rods long ago......

OP did you go bigger pulleys (OD) when you went aluminum? is It possible you might need a longer belt now with them?

The myE28.com guys said it's normal for the rear of that chassis.

As for other models, I could definitely see it being out a little after 35+ years of mechanical stress. But I don't know that I would consider it normal?

My front fitment is very different L/R on my e30 as well. Replaced control arms, tie rods, rack, subframe to no effect.
Still confident my car has never been hit as everything vin matches/shows no sign of damage.

All pulleys are stock, bigger belt is due to the supercharger.

So, thanks to the difference in the S54 oil cooler housing & M52, the power steering pump mount is different & the alignment is off so the belts don't run properly.

I ordered an S54 power steering pump

Pry bar to the radiator trying to get the belt on is no fun.

I had the audacity to think I'm, driving TODAY!

                            Then this....

Turns out, the S54 pump has higher pressure, ordered it's hose.

Soooo the S54 hose is totally different & cannot fit. I called a hose repair place 32 miles away, they insisted they can swap the banjo the S54 pump needs to my hose, I drove there & (A) the woman at the counter acted like I was making up the call, (B) she said no one there would have said they could do what I was asking. The guy I spoke to came out and said oh sorry no.

                              WTF????

I went the the hole in the wall shop I found for the Sequoia & they did it in an hour, getting it in is an adventure, I'll start over tomorrow.
