You would definitely benefit from running a programmable boost controller as well. Not sure what you are using now but consider this.
Aftermarket performance products. Founded in Japan in 1992, A’PEXi has grown from just a small tuning parts manufacturer to a multi-industry international powerhouse. 2018 marked the 20th year for A’PEXi USA and the 26th year for the A’PEXi Group of Companies.
Im running this on my turbo m42 and its is ultimately the best way to control boost I have ever found. You can control boost based on engine speeds, set up different boost settings based on which gear you are in ect ect. Its also PNP with every version of MS
You can also find it cheaper than on apexi's website. I got mine for around $400

You don't need tps.
But if it's not setup that's a stupid ez fix that you should do.
Control your turbo with our EBC Solenoid Kit. Run single solenoid or a dual dome pressure boost control strategy, no external controller needed
$50
$8 or buy the parts locally.
How you run vacuum lines.
How you wire it in.
This is what mine looks like.
Tuning is just as easy.

I believe whodwho already has mine setup for the boost control internally when he setup up my launch control and wasted spark setup. so all I have to do is run wires but I lost the diagram for which does which on my DB15 connector on the unit, If I could find that it should be easy enough to setup.

Regarding the turbo, Garrett (or other companies) doesn't usually have multiple A/Rs available for the compressor, just the turbine. The compressor A/R is matched to the compressor wheel aero so there is not much to gain by attempting to switch it.
Any clues what turbo you are going with? A GT30 based turbo would be a nice fit. An EFR would be killer though.-Nick
