I will, just need to find the proper turbo first.

buy my turbo would be great on a 2.7i

got a new turbo on the way and its not very common for E30's but should work very well if my calculations are right.

Ever thought about getting an ebc to smooth out that massive drop at the end?
You have MS. It should be about 50bux installed.

1 of the best mods you can do for real.

I think of it every day lol, increasing boost near redline would make a pretty sweet power curve. when I had a small hole in the wastegate vacuum line it did the same thing and resulted in zero power drop off near redline.

You would definitely benefit from running a programmable boost controller as well. Not sure what you are using now but consider this.
Aftermarket performance products. Founded in Japan in 1992, A’PEXi has grown from just a small tuning parts manufacturer to a multi-industry international powerhouse. 2018 marked the 20th year for A’PEXi USA and the 26th year for the A’PEXi Group of Companies.

Im running this on my turbo m42 and its is ultimately the best way to control boost I have ever found. You can control boost based on engine speeds, set up different boost settings based on which gear you are in ect ect. Its also PNP with every version of MS
You can also find it cheaper than on apexi's website. I got mine for around $400

I'll see how the car runs with the newer turbo before I get into any electronic boost controllers. Basically all I would use an EBC for is to gain boost by redline to flatten out the torque curve which I believe MS can do if you set it up for it.

The $50 MS one does the same stuff the apexi does, but it's $50 :)

exactly, I would never spend that much on a boost controller.
care to share exactly how to set it up on megasquirt. I'm not sure where to start but I also believe it needs a variable TPS correct?

                        You don't need tps.
But if it's not setup that's a stupid ez fix that you should do.

Control your turbo with our EBC Solenoid Kit. Run single solenoid or a dual dome pressure boost control strategy, no external controller needed

                        $50

$8 or buy the parts locally.

                        How you run vacuum lines.

                        How you wire it in.

This is what mine looks like.

                        Tuning is just as easy.

I believe whodwho already has mine setup for the boost control internally when he setup up my launch control and wasted spark setup. so all I have to do is run wires but I lost the diagram for which does which on my DB15 connector on the unit, If I could find that it should be easy enough to setup.

Regarding the turbo, Garrett (or other companies) doesn't usually have multiple A/Rs available for the compressor, just the turbine. The compressor A/R is matched to the compressor wheel aero so there is not much to gain by attempting to switch it.

Any clues what turbo you are going with? A GT30 based turbo would be a nice fit. An EFR would be killer though.

already have a new turbo on the way, its a bit of an unusual choice for an E30 but should spool quicker.
