Wow, sucks about spec. I was hoping to see an update with that beast finally running but nothing but more clutch bs. Hope it gets sorted and you can get back to punishing tires!!

This is for the E12/E28 M30, from what I know all early clutch/trans can go in late but not all late can go into the earlier. Hope this helps...

Just checked VAC because I thought I remembered them carrying one and its the same, only the FX300:

Judging by a 110% increase in holding capacity it should be good to roughly 420whp by my calculations

I'm looking into the fx300 kits, it really limits what I had planned though:(
and I cant find an fx400+ kit

Yeah doesn't look like they make them though :( Are you trying to go exclusively through ultrarev? If not maybe check out clutch net I'm sure that their stage 5 will hold plenty

So you got 2 bad clutches, paid $800, and they don't have a response? How can they run a business like that. They should refund your money or send you a good clutch free of charge at the LEAST.

20 year old custom M10 flywheel with 7.25" twin disc, rated for 900ftlbs.

When your making big torque you need to choose carefully, pulling the tranny in and out 1/2 dozen times or more because some piece of shit lying clutch manufacturer is not cool.

any one have a different setup that works with this motor and trans?

what other flywheels and clutchs are compatible?

Just go with Otis setup you'll know it work.

otis has a C4 behind him m30......you could go with his old setup, but its on a buddies car.

Edit: I see he's already talking about his old setup. Brandon, mike has that in his e28 now.
