Flywheel still attached, I have some trans rattle below 800rpm but I believe its somewhat normal for lighter flywheels.

Could be getrag rattle if the noise noise goes away when the clutch is disengaged.

That's normal. Couldn't tell you how many times people want to bump up the idle in their tunes to get rid of the rattle. The FW's that don't are dual mass.

ok so current plans as long as nothing breaks-

                    1. weight reduction- new trunk and possibly hood--

Alpina rear wing may be for sale.

                    2. finish tuning- get a good solid 450whp

3.new wheels and tires, going lower profile but sticker compound
(my tires will be for sale 85% tread)

                    4. finish interior, other seat, momo wheel, turner aluminum pedals

I'm curious to see what you come up with for a lighter trunk lid. There may be some good products available but the ones I've seen either have a crappy fit, lack any semblance of security, or require some type of pins or something similar. I understand trying to remove front end weight with allyou have going on up front but why reduce back end weight?

For trunk current plans are to just remove a lot of the inner skeleton. Main weight loss back there will be from removing the wing, factory and quality wings like alpina are pretty heavy; they are 100% solid rubber/foam stuff. Whatever I shave off the rear I plan on removing up front as well

Dont you want a little weight in the back so you dont just spin tires.

Were talking like 10lbs here, nothing drastic
