Left it all hooked up. I did the first leak check with a smoke machine. With the throttle plate closed I should be able to pressure the system up to 20psi or so to check for leaks. Works pretty good for 5 bucks.

Also your reflective heat tape on the charge pipe, where did you buy? DEI looks expensive. I saw Panici running it too. Guessing I'll want that here in Phoenix when it hits 120F.

Spare engine for $100, can't beat that! Cheap insurance for piece of mind.

Such a classy looking car, inside and out.

IC spray version two here. Much cleaner with the delrin knob.

This car is really satisfying, from an interior / exterior perspective I don't know how it could be more subtle given how much its been modified. The intercooler sprayer install is bitchin'

I was curious how you like the self-centering shifter, I'm always tempted by body mount shifters to try cleaning up the internal G260 trans slop, but I'm hesitant to install solid / poly trans mounts. Trying to thread the needle of keeping the car enjoyable on the street with "race car" parts. Though, even with solid mounts I imagine the E34 masks vibrations a bit better than a E30.

Thanks for the comments. Its been a long hard build ha.

I always have run OEM mounts on all my cars because they are all street driven. I did have to upgrade to poly subframe mounts in my e30 due to OEM parts failing constantly. Poly mounts definitely make things louder. The difference is substantial. This self centering shifter is actually really nice. It is a bit notchy but I enjoy the feel. Expensive for what it is but it will definetly remove ALL slop in a shift linkage. There is zero play in the assembly and it has a wide range of adjustment. Worth the $400+ in my opinion.

Installed new blow off. Sounds nice. (Ignore shitty tig welds. The aluminum was not cooperating for whatever reason)

Catch can setup to keep the few watery oil drips from my crankcase vent off the driveway and garage floor. Nice location using old airbox bracket and factory crankcase nipple under the intake.

I had the bubblegum weld problem putting my BOV flange onto my pipe too, with the generic BOV I just assumed the quality of the material they made the coped flange out of was terrible and causing me problems. Looks worse than yours for sure. What's with the screw in the fitting on the intercooler end tank?

Yeah I may redo it at some point but its alright for now. That ghetto screw is a plug for a IAT sensor location that comes factory with the volvo intercooler. I need to fix that lol
