Headwork done, 285CFM is more than any size or form of M/S5X bottom end can fully utilize. These have enormous potential compared to M20.

Long time no see, but some things have happened in the background. 5150 sold me nice set of pistons for my combo.

These rods were heavy pigs so I decided at the end to discard them. Perhaps some turbo tuner fellow has more use for them.

Oilpump will receive an upgrade too

Oilpump chain will get a tensioner that M52 does not origially have.

Seems to be eBay seller SIXSHOP. I had to check from my purchase history.

Eagle! It is at least established brand with some reputation from rally scene in this side of the pond. I did not have the courage to use Maxspeeding in this engine because it will cost arm and leg anyway.

Chinese-American is just a bad joke. I'm assuming that every rod in this planet is done somewhere in China today.

I made new purchases as I'm not confident with the oil pump shaft upgrade. I first purchased uprated shaft kit that had instructions to glue the shaft with epoxy to the pump rotor (in addition to press fit). I don't understand what epoxy does there.

So I did some clicks in eBay again and I should get a new version of this topic.

Not much progress, but at least damper solution arrived.

looks more like an anti vibration damper

                              I'm struggling with correct vocabulary!

Also bought one flywheel candidate, but not sure what is my clutch/gearbox combination. I'd like to invest to proper 5/6 speed H-pattern dogbox, but reluctant to go forward with the investment. Only alternative is to put GS6-37BZ I already have, but it is quite slow to shift. And requires probably different flywheel.
