Our entire town got destroyed more or less. State farm "cancelled" home and auto insurance for over half the town. A lot of my friends familys got really screwed with needing new cars and roofs. My family lucked out and we got enough money to fix all our crap. It is such a screwy business.

"Folsom's the best road in Boulder" is a saying. Maybe that's faded into obscurity since I moved out of Boulder. I would stay on the neighborhood roads over that in the snow...
New Running Issue:
A week ago I felt the slightest hesitation at highway speed, 5th gear 75mph. So I'm driving to work, accelerating on to the highway after a right hand turn and I get a nasty stumble. I downshifted and got my revs over 4000RPM and it cleared up after about 30 seconds. Driving home from work just after starting it flat out quit. I had to rev the hell out of it to keep it going. After stalling 3 times it managed to clear. It hesitated a couple times on the way home at about 3000 RPMs, but I couldn't get it to duplicate when I got home.
I suspect bad gas or water in my gas, but I fear it isn't that simple. When it hesitated on the way home in was in 5th gear and the RPMs indicated by the tach dropped from 3000 to below 2000 rpms almost instantly. If it was just loosing fuel the RPMs wouldn't drop that fast because I was in gear right????
In the last 3 months I've replaced my ICV, Throttle Switch, Intake Boot, AFM, Coolant Temp sensor, ECU, and ground strap. Anyone had anything similar?JOY IS AN E30...

If it always bogs at the same rpm, it could be o2. If it gets moisture in the cap/rotor it would be all over the place. Check the easy ones first...

No, I was going to jiggle them when it was stalling in my work parking lot, but it wouldn't run long enough for me to get out there. Plus I would think it would be in the distributor or coil instead of just one plug. I don't have my plastic under cover on so I do wonder if water isn't getting into something. It's got new Bav Auto wires, coil, and distributor from the PO.
Doesn't bog at a consistent RPM. I might check the distributor cap in the morning. I work early and won't have time to do a thorough diagnoss until Sat afternoon.JOY IS AN E30...

If the tach takes a big drop as compared to the loss of road speed the cause will be something that is taking away timing data to the DME, a loss of power ground to the DME, or a fault in the DME.
