Well he has both, so he's probably the most qualified to say so :P

They're very different. E46 M3 will probably just go up in value, especially with a 6sp. E30s are appreciating too, but not to the amount where you're making your money back on a $10k swap.

Granted BMW brought over like 45,000 E46 M3s into the states, thats the way I saw it as well. I wanted to get into one as soon as they started hitting rock bottom value...they might even drop a bit lower, but who knows?? With my current M3 (100k miles, 6 speed) @ $9,500, I cant complain one bit....and if for some reason, their values start climbing again, I could say I pulled an Aaron, and got in at the right time :up:

But thats always been my philosophy...never buy brand new. Because in reality, these new cars are all the same. Now if i can just afford an S65 and stuff it into my E46, I'd be VERY content.

Almost three weeks ago now! I've driven the E30 once since then lol. But now its currently apart, getting some more work done to it to tidy it up for the sale.

Brad never keeps a car. Im ok with it because in most cases the car leaves in better condition then when he got it. The only reason they dont leave in a better condition is because they leave in pieces

LMFAOOOO! Finally got that in...but I sprung a fuel leak the other day at the fuel rail. So im removing the intake mani to get that all squared away. Also doing late model window regulators to fix my old ones, so that my one touch windows work faster....i have a whole laundry list of small shit that will be wrapped up this weekend.
