I got the oil cooler done today, so what I did was I used the stock e30m3 lines cut the ends off and clamped on e46m3 fittings.

This method saved me some money for other needs, looks fairly decent so I'm ok with it but really didn't have a choice anyways, I couldn't get the stock lines off cooler.

^ Haha yea not the popular choice but at least I used legit clamps.

My next concern is the brake booster, probably will go with a 2002 booster, I had this in my last swap and although it doesn't allow a full lockup it does feel a lot better then going boosterless. I also have a 735i booster which kinda looks like an IX booster, but I'm not sure if this will fit so I'll have to do some testing.

Massives booster delete recommends to use stock master cylinder but a caliper upgrade is a necessity. I am saving up for a good bbk now.

Would love to know if that booster works for future reference.

As anyone in here mounted a wilwood dual MC brake pedal setup?

So my booster of choice is from the 2002, I'll have to modify it alil, cut the U-joint off and weld on my stock e30 Rod with the proper length measurements. The 735i booster will also work but would need to be notched over and you'll have to modify the shaft and where it mounts to the car, too complicated for me so will go an easier route with the 2002 booster.

As for the e46m3 FPR and giant size fuel filter, I've deceided to ditch the fuel filter and keep my stock, but as for the FPR, I mounted it just below the booster.

*735i booster doesn't fit without serious modifications, notch over and cut booster

Don't think you can really have too much fuel filtration when dealing with FI, IMO.

The e46 filter is enormous! I just couldn't find a location to mount it without looking ridiculous, also I didn't want to have the fuel lines at such an awkward angle. I think the stock e30 filter is enough so it should work.

A guy from PA, he's about an hour away so makes it somewhat convenient for me, he actually just finished up a s54 swap.

Yeah Kassel (Jim Herrold), bought Andrew's PNP harness just to copy them, Now he lists them as Kassel made harness.

When I was looking for an s54 harness adapter, Jim acutally suggested buying from Andrew. Everyone copy's someone at some point, it's just business, like it or not, anyways I don't know the story but I'm not getting into it.

My swap progress has been on the decline, there's just too much I want to do non swap relatated, from replacing ebrake lines to minor rust repair, just seems like I find more problems that need attention. Need some motivation!
