Youtube needs to bring back the visible dislike count. Actually all social media needs a dislike. Add one to my work Teams channels too while we are at it.

Gotta know, did you have a calendar alert to let you know when to respond, or just figured you'd start reading from the beginning again?

This winter is fucked. Usually we get a handful of snowfalls, it melts within a few days, and a lot of rain.
This year we've had basically a storm every 3 days, all snow up until a week ago and now we've had a week of freezing rain, or snow that melts and flash freezes.

Sloped driveway is a shitshow but the land rover seems to be happy to climb it even as a sheet of ice.

Nowhere has salt, and people are scalping bags of salt on facebook marketplace lol.

    Spring can start anytime now

Oh, that's good to know. I was under the impression they required that, based on how the question was presented

WTF is going on a bringatrailer? Someone sent me this:
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-honda-accord-10/ a friggin automatic accord with crash history! Oh wow 52k miles, so what? It's a 19 year old base model automatic Accord, a car that won't be interesting until it's 50+ years old and in that condition. I get that there's some appeal to some things with astoundingly low mileage and good condition, but this is just low but believable mileage plus it was in an accident and you can see the respray mismatch in the pics. It's a good first car you won't have to work on often for your 16 year old freshly licensed kid and that's about it.

There are all sorts of uninteresting regular traffic cars on BAT now, did BAT change ownership or something?
    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-cabriolet-18/ boca raton grandma car
    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2015-audi-q7-24/ literal soccer mom car
    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...benz-glk350-2/ another soccer mom car
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2012-bmw-535i-4/ yawned while I was pasting this it is so uninteresting
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...e350-sedan-32/ another boca raton grandma car
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...p-wrangler-82/ just what? It's a crummy modern jeep

This is a hilarious rabbit hole to go down; "cars you wouldn't look twice at unless they were on fire of bringatrailer". I know there's a BAT isn't what it used to be meme but I didn't realize it had gotten to the point where stuff that belongs on craigslist or autotrader is listed on BAT now.

They probably just don't cover it, they seem to have outrageously limited coverage. When I was shopping agreed value policy coverage for my FD the Hagerty rep told me they wouldn't cover any sort of "daily driving" type use, including something like taking it on a road trip up to TOTD and it being used to go to the store or something while on the trip. Basically all they said they covered was pleasure drives, going to car shows. I don't know if it was just that rep or if that's how Hagerty is. I had planned to go to the Deals Gap rotary rally with my car, so it was of concern whether they'd cover that sort of thing.

I'm currently paying $82/mo with USAA. It looks like Hagerty wants to know if you plan to track the car, but it doesn't impact the cost. They quoted me $37/mo as-is, and $46/mo once the car is making ~350hp with a turbo.

Seems like no company wants to insure >2 cars, anything modified, anything >10 years old, anyone with minor tickets (despite basically everywhere in NA moving further and further toward tickets as revenue generation).

Or they just hear any of these and see dollar signs. Yeah, probably this one.

Most companies wouldn't even insure me.

Perfect driving record. Not even one ticket. No accidents

Haven't had a claim in 10 years and that wasn't even my fault

$300/month for two bikes? Good lord. Insurance is not cheap here, but I paid less than $300 for this year's coverage on my ZRX.
