OK so we know e30 was designed to prime only when the engine is cranking/running.
Is it only for safety (stopped engine/ignition is still ON)? Any other reasons? Any reason to keep that setup if...

How many of your prime your engine after the oil change ? I've noticed it's like 1-2 sec after a startup and before any reading on the pressure gauge. I'm thinking if I should enable "flood clrear"...

I almost bought something fancy and expensive, then the sellers check "didnt clear," so to speak but luckily I had already spent a little time with the POS and was smitten with her charm......
