Meh, it's neat and it would be appreciated as a gift, but it doesn't really look like an m3 to me. A better livery would have been cool. I'm glad they did it, but it's also not the best.

Agree with Garagistic, but my subframe mounts didn't survive the installation process.

My struggle to tolerate 2 hours of that group aside, that's a pretty crappy list. First of all, who the heck overhypes the Delorean? They're basically the poster car for looking good but being awful. Everyone knows it's crap = by definition not overhyped. I haven't driven enough "hero cars" for my list to be meaningful to most, but I'd agree the E30 M3 probably belongs in the top 5 because there's no way it lives up to the hype. I also don't think actually know anyone who loves the McLaren SLR, even when they were new my friends and I watching top gear found them pretty ugly, and their values seem to reflect that, pretty low for a 2000s halo car. Another puzzling choice especially at #1.

If you're sticking around for my list that is 3/5 cars I haven't driven:
1 - Bugatti Veyron (I can't get past how ugly it is, 250mph is not enough to outrun the ugly)
              2 - MKIV Supra
3 - any Mclaren with fewer than 12 cylinders (making fast boring, they all look and sound almost the same and they are everywhere here)
4 - E30 M3 (impossible to live up to the apocalyptic levels of hype)
5 - VW type 1 (VW beetle love is borderline pathological, they're a cultural phenomenon, but I've driven one and it is the kind of thing you only need to experience once because it's just bad)
